Are you saying Bob Saget would suck a dick for sliders?

    How rude!

You think I've been doing the stuff I do without them? I bought sliders a week after I bought the Runner.

A week a little more and i should have my BAMF sliders here! I still need to figure out the best way to rattle can items as large and with as many angles as sliders. I dont think i am going to PC or LineX it since Im sure they will get "slid" on. Any advice?

Several coats of self etching primer followed by several coats of black semi gloss. I recommend ACE hardware brand as they spray better than rustoleum and the other majors and are a little bit less expensive.

Right on, I will try out that ace paint. i need to get a massive drop cloth or something... the last few paint projects have resulted in some over spray in parts of my garage

I used a tarp I got for free for buying stuff at harbor freight. Stood the sliders up on end and sprayed them with Rustoleum textured black spray paint. I also used one of those spray paint can grip things so my hand didnt seize up. Make sure to clean them well before whatever type of paint you choose to use so it adheres well.

My timing cover has been leaking ever since I can remember having the truck. All it does is seep though, no adding oil between oil changes. Yours must leak pretty bad. What oil you use?

For real that's the best $3 I ever spent. We did 3 sets of sliders in one day because we all received them a few days before a wheeling trip. I would have been DYING if I did that with just my finger(especially because I have arthritis). It also allows you to sort of do a sweeping motion like you would with an actual paint gun and I had less runs and more even coverage that way.

    Im definitely getting one now.

@Phoosa you think i will need cases of paint? How many are in a case, lol... im thinking i could use 2-3 cans of primer and 3-4 of paint per slider. so 6 primer and 8 color in total. I used "Hammered Black" for my skids (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Ole...-Hammered-Black-Spray-Paint-7215830/100146848). It has a little bit of sheen to it and a textured look.

I may go out and buy a few cans of different paint and spray liners. Id want to use the same stuff on the ordered rear bumper and eventual front bumper.

Let's leave this open for a couple weeks in case anyone else wants in and if the San Antonio, Dallas, or Houston guys want in too. They'll have to pick their stuff up at @Texoma place but he can do the install if people want. Spread the word in case they want in.

@EddyRRT youre going to have a big order coming soon but we'll need to know what kind of deal we can get because some members won't have an answer until we know

Not sure what you'll need honestly. Buy a case of whatever your preference, don't wanna run out midway through.

I can tell you to skip anything that is or resembles Rustoleum Rubberized undercoating.
