I feel like I've been slacking between you two posting.

Time to spend some monies towards ink. Truck has been to spoiled.

Just started progressing mine end of last year. I held off for the longest time just because of my career path. But working for a college = no tattoo polices = game on.

I've got one more large piece to add before we go in and do the background, then it's back to my right arm to finish my half sleeve and progress towards a full sleeve. Most of my stuff is already drawn up, just need to work on finishing it and the back ground.

Nice. I waited years to get my full sleeve. I transferred to a new department within my county a few years ago and my Chief is accepting of my ink.. as long as it's not offensive etc... i'm certainly unique in my rural county being in law-enforcement with a full sleeve.. you should see the looks I get at times.. lol

I hear ya, years ago myself and my partner on the boo boo bus were referred to as the "tat" crew. Your pretty lucky, a lot of places are unforgiving and require full sleeve uniforms.

And that is exactly why I held off, wasn't sure if I was going to get into Law Enforcement or not, got lucky and got hired by our local community college at the Fire School. They don't even mind the Mohawk, which most don't even notice any way.

Yeah, I am lucky for sure. There's a few cops at my local PD that have to wear a tat sleeve. Obviously it's more accepting in bigger cities just not so much in smaller rural counties... Not sure what the big deal is, as long as it's not offensive and or racist, who cares.. it's 2017!! Firefighter? Nice man! Although you know I'm supposed to hate you! You do realize cops are the real heroes

    J/k

Are you on the LEO BS thread? Go there.

On a related note, the only one to have a fit over my (small) forearm tatt is my MIL...

That looks great. I am a black and grey fan myself. Really like the hard lines with the soft shading look too. Once I finish my sleeve, i will also post pictures, but that might be a while....

I have two half sleeves now and my chest done now, but I am joining the Army Reserves as a JAG this summer, and the recruiter told me I had to stop where I was, at least until I was in for a few years. I even had to get a waiver because they could be seen while I was wearing a t shirt.

And to think a judge at my one sentencing hearing told me"And no more tattoos!"
