I found what I think is the upper mount for the shock. Monroe part#901985. It's the front upper strut mount on a 1994 Audi S4. I order them, I will repost on Tuesday if it works.

Yes it worked. I had to do a bit of grinding the outer part of where the mount goes. Been 6 months or so no problem.

IMO, start from scratch. That lift is scary funky looking, and likely wouldn't hold up to much more than mall crawling. If that's what you're in to, then cool, but if you want to wheel with it (and want to stick with IFS), you need to take that crap off entirely and go back to something like King or ICON coilovers with a uniball upper A arm with maybe 3" of lift. You'll have vastly superior suspension/drive train geometry, and your center of gravity will be WAY lower (less rolling over while wheelin).

If you're desperate for 6 feet of lift to fit 48" tires, or if you want gobs of wheel travel for rock crawling, you're better off IMO doing a SAS.

Yes, I'm planning on a completely new lift(sas), but until I have all the cash for all the parts, I'm just wanting to replace the top mounts for the secondary struts, they are completely worn out. So, after lots of helpful info from others, and lots of searching the internet, I'm looking at $110 for the pair of mounts, then I can cruise the malls all day long. Lol. It will be fine for pavement pounding until I cut the entire lift out and sas it! My next Tacoma will start stock and then I will choose the lift of my choice. Thanks!

Well, I'm hoping that I found the right mounts, they have been ordered and should have them tomorrow. I will then know where I'm sitting. Fingers crossed!
