    Hey folks.

    So I'm considering purchasing a Street Guardian v3 or Vicovation Opia2 dash cam. I've heard a lot of good things about both on this site and others.

    Has anyone found a way to make these dash cams work with the GoPro mount that comes in the new Tacomas? I figure, it's there, so might as well put it to use if possible.

    On the other hand, is there any reason NOT to use the mount and just use the supplied mounting hardware instead?
