Heard rumors of the 79 series coming to the US. A dual cab 79 would be pretty awesome!

Other then buying something brand new and already pre-damaged? You do get they are not fixing the dents, thus the discount

I've looked into it before. Alsmost bought anew chevy that had damage but wasn't all that bad other than the roof.

Almost did it again with a used truck that just had roof and hood, was just going to replace the hood with a cowl style one and leave the roof alone and would have been money ahead but again decided against it.

Look at it this way, you get a cheaper truck with cosmetic damage already so there's no reason not to wheel it as soon as you leave the lot. Who cares about pin stripes and some rock dings when overall the body looks like a golf ball anyway. Tonka Truck!

Freud: is it your fear of getting stuck that you are exhibiting here, or just a reckless desire to spin your tires on all occasions?

And the texture gets better gas mileage.

Anyone know where the next big hail storm is?

I know some people that know some people that might be able to allow you to park your truck at the 100 yard mark on a driving range...
