What tire size should provide a smoother ride

    I'm switching the tires on my Tacoma and I am trying to look for a softer ride going over road imperfections. I am currently running 265/70R17s with full OME suspension.

    In theory what tire size should provide a smoother ride going over speed bumps, pot holes, etc?

    265/70R17
    255/75R17
    285/70R17

    Right now I am considering P Rated All Terrains from yokohama.

    What load tires do you have on there now and what PSI are you running them at? That will determine the smoothness of the ride and not so much the size. I ran P rated 265/70r17 General Grabber AT2s and they rode like stock.

    Pizza cutters should conform to bumps better, but it will all depend on your load rating and tire pressure.

    Wow, that looks like a good deal. I was quoted $670 OTD for a 265/65/17 set.

    Did you get them? If so, where are they made in?
