mounting a roof rack

    I got my 17 double cab w/o the factory roof rack as I planned to put a camper on it that overhangs the cab a bit (see pic).

    I'd still like to mount a simple rack to the roof, but I really only have the front and middle mounting holes to work with.

    I'm having trouble finding just a mounting bracket. Any recommendations?

    I don't see how you are going to get a rack up there but I certainly am interested in what you end up with.

    The Overand Expedition guys also have a Habitat on their Taco and a small rack on the cab. Look up their build and see what they used.

    Yep! They sure do. I don't see any details on that though. I'll ping them on twitter and see if they respond.

    Mostly stuff I built.
    Get a Prinsu rack and cut the back off of it so that it clears the Habitat.
