Not a whole lot really, almost sits level with the cross bars.

Whole lot of anger here... you are still about a month shy of when I ended up getting my rack. Delays in manufacturing, a crap job by the post office, and the inability of updates for military tracking brough me out to past the 3 month mark. That said, Zach was always up front about it, and he even got so frustrated that the post office couldn't own up to their mistake that he offered to refund me (glad I didn't accept, rack showed up two weeks later).

When it comes down to it, its expectation management. This is the nicest rack that you can put on a taco, so it may require some pains to get it. I know how you feel because I was frustrated and aggrivated about the weight, but now I smile everytime I walk into the drive way. Stay the course, this rack is worth it.

Good to know if I ever decide to put one up. I originally had a deflector with a cutout but no lightbar, when I switched to the normal deflector it was a huge difference in wind noise.

You could always go with a single row, I did double since it was cheaper.

Guys with cutouts, how is the glare off the hood? Does the deflector cut out some of the light that would hit the hood?

That awkward moment when the thread gets closed right after a hilarious comment on an illegitimate thread. @fatfurious2, did you catch the last comment/shitpost just before the thread was deleted? "PS - do I need a 6" or a 12" lift to use a Rigid 42" lightbar?"

Anyone have suggest with mounting the awning mounts. The t-bolts that are included with the racks have the inner section that actually comes out of the t-slot slightly not allow for the awning mount to fit onto them nicely. Anyone experience the same?

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
Take a pic, I'm not following you. My awning mount is rock solid.

I mounted a 55" CVT awning to my prinsu on my dual cab. Covers both doors and doesn't stick out in front or behind the cab.

Question for those who have mounted a Plano AW 42" Gun Case for recovery gear... What was the best method to mount the case? Would rather use a more solid option than straps. Thanks.

carriage bolts, believe they were 3/4" ones, but I may be mistaken. Search through this thread for plano box install and it should pop up.
