So If I get an OME 886 Springs with Icons Shocks with Dakars Will I need UCA's?

You can put ome springs on icons?? Why wouldn't you just adjust the icons? Or get a higher rate icon coil?

Now I'm just starting to understand suspension so go slow with me here please

 

Measure before lift, install lift, measure again. Subtract the second number from the first number and if the number you get is at or over 2.5", you need UCAs.

 

Okay no on the icons probably go with Nitros then or should I go with an ICON whole setup? I want to keep it as DD as possible but with some off road potential

I would suggest UCAs regardless of the brand you choose. I'm currently lifted somewhere in the 2.5" range and it's much easier to get the alignment numbers you want. You'll most likely gain down travel with the UCAs too.

LR UCAs have more adjustability, more travel, and cost less than every other option I researched.

 

Something with better low speed ride characteristics would get my vote for your intended use. I'd recommend picking up UCAs too...that way when you alignment is off from lifting you can correct it and for increased wheel travel (only going to help if you also remove the swaybar).

 

Toytec recommended Total Chaos for me because I live in NY . Lots of road salt .
