More like the dealership, that's quite a bit of work lol. Gonna get them to add it to the warranty. It will be there 2 days

If you can catch your dealership before they mount the plastic plate holder on the front you can eliminate those pesky holes in the front bumper.

Sure wish I had this instead of the stupid plate mount the dealer/distributor drilled in the front.

I am biased but I agree it looks much cleaner. You could always replace that plastic piece with this bracket. The bracket sits very close to the bumper and fits right in front of the holes the dealer drilled into the bumper. Carefully trimming the raised edges of the bumper where the bumper was drilled and using 3M seam sealer will make the holes all but disappear. Or you could always replace that plastic piece when someone on TW puts on an aftermarket bumper.

Aftermarket bumper is in the future. I think. Maybe. Definitely. Probably. We'll see.

3 coats of etching primer and 4 coats of flat black paint. The frame mount turned out beautifully!

@toyguyic where did you get the clear rubber bumpers you put on the bumper? Mine should be here tomorrow! Going to do the same thing to mine. I like how painting it "hides" it against the bumper and makes the tag look like it is floating.

Yes those "round cabinet bumpers" worked out perfectly. Fortunately the bends were perfect (Thank You Aaron) so there was enough pressure to sit on the rubber bumpers. If I had to to do it over again I might've tried satin black for paint instead of flat. I purchased the stick on bumpers at Amazon but I think a hardware store, furniture or possibly office store would have them. Cheers!

Actually, yours is "Out for delivery". So you should have it today. I have included 6 round felt pads that can be used to "protect" the bumper if the plate was to be bumped into. These CAN be painted and offer a little more surface area. I may just have to order some of the clear dots to see how they look and how they might perform.

You are welcome. With your permission, I may use the pictures you posted. Thinking about starting a Facebook for sale page. Those are nicer than anything I have.
