Why I am going to stick with the 3rd gen.....

I have a 15 Pro, my brother has a 17 Sport in Quicksand, I'm partial to mine like he his to the 17 - all about what you like. One thing I will tell you, his quicksand with the SEMA wheels is one of the nicest trucks I've seen.

 

I bet 95-99% of the 3rd gen haters/regretters have auto trans.

 

I have a 3rd gen with auto trans and i love my truck, love it much more than my 2nd gen that was perfect, i'm on the dark side

 

People sometimes are resistant to change... But then they all came around once they realized the giant front end allowed for two 30" light bars behind the grill and a hidden winch

On one hand I wish I could have Cement in Off Road, on the other hand I'm glad there won't be a ton of them it makes it unique for the Pro owners.

No envy here, nice looking truck, just that some around here does more than look, and tire kick. Nice looking truck, 100% agree.

Great post. Totally agree. Absolutely love my truck. I still think its the nicest style/ride for a mid-sized truck on the market. Planning on keeping her for a long time.

A pretty quick read through reveals just as many threads about maintenance problems as we see on the 3rd gen forum. But, I would bet that a higher percentage of the complaining posts on the 3rd gen forum are by a smaller group of people.

I think all the colors look good on the taco. I think the gen 3 looks the best but 2nd and 1st gen are still close in looks

 

I love my truck and sometimes slow down when I drive by other people so they can get a "proper look and enjoy it". LOL.

Sure, I've made mods to improve my experience and to make up for some of Toyota's shortfalls, but I've always done the same to my motorcycles so I feel it's just part of ownership and performance improvement.

 

Who was it said he "Never met a horse he did not like" well I never met a Toyota I did not like. Off topic and dumb question what do you call the truck before the Tacoma? What ever you call them I've had 3 of those.
