Help! Finally lifted my 05 and it didn't turn out as expected!

    Well shoot, now it looks like the truck is sitting about .25-0.5 lower on the passenger side. Is that normal or do you think the springs got swapped. Is anyone able to tell the difference between driver side and passenger side stock coils on an 05 ? Here are photos, does anything else look wrong? IMG_0919.jpg

    You could be right. I believe the Driver's side spring is slightly longer to account for the Taco Lean. When installing aftermarket springs people typically install a small spacer on driver's side since aftermarket springs would be same length on both sides. Sorry, but I don't know how to tell the difference.

    Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
    You have what some people call the "reverse taco lean". Its usually the drivers side that sits low. People will either live with it or put about A 1/4 inch spacer on the low side. However, with the drivers side just a little high, it may be close to level with you in it?

    How is the ride quality with the billies set at 1.75 w/ oem springs? much stiffer than stock?

    Thanks. I have a 2014 off-road 2wd but after installing the Bilstein's 5100 front and back shock and struts at 2.5 I have positive camber on my front tires and it pulls to the right. The shop told me it's because of my truck being 2wd and not 4wd and in order to fix it I will need different UCA. I was wondering if anybody else ran into this problem.

    I actually didn't notice a stiffer ride at all with my truck. Feels good to me

    That shop doesn't know what they are talking about. It doesn't matter if it's 2wd or 4wd. You can set camber to 0 and to to 0 but it takes time to do it. If the camber is set at 0 yours caster will be limited. Read up on alignments educate yourself that way the shops you got to can't bullshit you about what is going on.

    When I take my trucks in to get alignments I tell them what I want. If the manager starts to tell me other wise about the crown on the road or some other crap that most people buy. I inform him about alignment specs torque settings and all. Ohh yeah I have had two alignment shops that didn't bother to torque the cam bolts to spec. I know bring my torque wrench with me and before they lower the truck ask to double check the torque on the cam bolts. I have gotten two free alignments because the manager assured me that it was torqued. I tell him and if it's not I get the alignment for free if it is I'll buy lunch. Haven't had to buy lunch yet.

    Luckily I found a great alignment tech and he is a perfectionist. Last alignment I got .06toe.06 camber and 2.8 caster. Good luck with your truck.
