I have the basic entune. This week I'm going to install a CarPlay system w/navigation and also adding Sirius. From everything I read the shark fin should have leads to connect Sat and Navigation. Crutchfield will sell me the adapters but don't know where they hook up. It's a 17 Tacoma SR .Anyone know where they are?
    Thanks

The SW controls still work and the features are great. Got the iPhone lighting to HDMI so I can play video for work related stuff. I never did find Sat antenna. In a way I'm glad I didn't , I like having the dock so I can take it from one vehicle to another The GPS antenna just sits on top of head unit.
I also installed rear speakers. On the utility there's panels on the rear door panels over the speaker grills. They are not designed to be removed. Had to rip them off and they left 6 holes around the speaker grill. I found some 5/16 black push buttons to put in the holes and you'd never know it wasn't factory. I was a bit bummed I couldn't use the factory mic. Installed the new one on top DS a pillar. No problems with Siri or anyone else hearing me.

Thanks for the info. Looks like a nice install. I was gonna install a radio from a 17 SR5 with XM in my SR but from all the info it looks like all the wiring is not there on my shark fin antenna for the XM.

When you installed these speakers, was there a speaker harness already behind the panel you removed or did you have to run wires? Thanks!

    did you have success?

Anyone can help me out and tell me if I can use the shark fin antenna on my 3rd gen (2018) for the sat radio... my tacoma was not equipped with the pioneer xm module, I found it at ebay,,, but I want to connect the existing Shark fin antenna to the module... any idea of where can I find the existing cable, and what adapter I need.

If your OEM radio had XM, then then antenna plugged into the back off the radio. From that point you can connect to an xm tuner/module(probably also need an adapter) then to your aftermarket radio.

If your OEM radio didn't have xm. then you'll have to get a xm/tuner module and run the antenna that comes with it.
