    They are great those softoppers. Guy down the street has one on his truck and it's unbelievably versatile unlike the cap. Like I said one of the only reasons I didn't get one was price compared to a used cap. Other than that I would have dealt with the security issue the same way I did before when I had no cap on.

    I saw a SICK old 4runner on the highway the other day. Bright green, lifted. He had a black softopper on it. Looked so good. Im not sure why i like it though. I guess it has that military feel to it?

    The trouble with soft tops is that they are dusty as heck and leak. Other than that they look great. I've never seen one yet that had dry, clean stuff in the back. Unfortunately. Of course if that doesn't matter, no problem.

    I agree. Soft tops may look cool, but are garbage performers in our Canadian temperate climate.

    Spending money on a soft top, then more money on an overland cage/rack is not a wise investment; besides, it will be too much work on your part keeping up with things.

    Cap or roll-up tonneau cover ... your call.

    A coat of flat black EZ-Liner from Cambodian Tire (3 cans = $30) and your off to the races (or the bush) for less than $500... ;)

    Tag team him.

    He'd be silly not to think about it. It's a freakin' good deal.

    @tacoma16

    @Thyces

    After a month of looking, I finally found a like new black LEER 100XL with sliding front window and roof rails for my REBEL, and I happen to have the keyless solenoid for the rear gate. (... and I kept my MegaMule for the cap.)

    8 hour round trip to get it, though. I do have to drive through Milton on the way by. :thumbsup:

    So I "accidentally" ended up in ardbeg on my way home from Sault St Marie. Great trail. Had lots of fun. I only had 2 hours to spare so only got an hour in. I'm definitely doing a trip up there sometime this summer. Anyone interested please let me know. Only got a few pics but I did record 3/4 of the trip on my tablet. 20170528_171200_HDR-01.jpg 20170528_161719-01.jpg 20170528_154952-01.jpg
    As soon as we got onto the trail.... Saw my first moose. 20170528_151907-01.jpg
    These are from a construction site/bridge/underpass I found on the side of the road. No "no trespassing" signs.

    I think there was a run there on the Saturday. I'm down to run it as well. Hopefully we can get out there soon.

    Yeah there was a few of the guys out this weekend. I think it was suppose to be a half day run. We really have to set something up. June's going to be crazy at work but after that, I'm free!
