Goals...

 

There is more than enough room to park a fleet of Tacomas. I'm building a firepit on this overlook we cleared out with the dozer.

Here is the view from that overlook.

Later this summer it's a go. I think I took off the entire weekend off for the July C&C. That might be the best time. It really isn't that far from anyone who lives in south Austin.

 

I'm in af! And will be there for that C&C as well, it's the day before my bday

 

Unless there happens to be a monsoon overnight, the truck is packed, lunch is made, I'll be there by 10.

The bumper didnt take long at all to install, actually took longer to get the lights hooked up. But they are bright as shit, definitely can't run them all the time like I did with the stock ones but they are pretty sweet.



Really pumped, and the approach angle clearance is fucking incredible! But the best part of today was the mail call!

I live just south of HF on the other side of the river...rain is coming down like crazy right now. Hopefully it lets up by morning.

 

Just hitting 290 and William Cannon. Very heavy. Should be done before sun up though. But the rain is needed.

 

Park is going to be pretty wet today been coming down hard all night.. And scattered thunderstorms all day.

 

Looks like 40-50% at 08:00 up to 65-85% at 12:00 to 14:00. Futurecast... not sure if anyone believes that option (not I)... shows the next wave hitting at 09:30 with light rain and heavy at 10 to 10:30.

So my uneducated, unfounded, 5 am forecast prediction is... cloudy, light wind and sporadic rain with only one wave of actual rain mid morning. But I'm just some idiot online watching colors move on a screen from red to green

But... Blue Bonnet Cafe does open at 6 am...

 

Well I am Northbound with the pedal down.
