    Hello everyone!

my '03 just turned over 100,000 miles and I'm planning some suspension work over the summer.

First - I've read the FAQ and either didn't find, or didn't understand the answer to my questions, so please be gentle.

I'm not looking to lift the truck much if at all. I mostly drive on pavement, to/from work (5mi). Snow in the winter (Denver to mountains). 5-7 trips up dirt/gravel roads to trailheads in the summer, but cars get up there too. No real off-roading.

I'm looking at new shocks. So far the 5100s seem to be very well received, but I need a 1" lift in the rear? So basically I'm looking for replacement shock recommendations for my driving style and little to no lift. If the tradeoff is crappy shocks and no lift and better shocks and a 1" lift, I could do the 1".

Follow-up: add-a-leaf is the preferred option for a 1" lift? My springs are stock. (PO had all the records, no spring swap.)

I am replacing the upper and lower ball joints.

    Mostly: Help! Thanks all!

I suppose I should add: Anything else need changing at 100k? Bushings, bearings, joints, etc?
