Took my girlfriend out for her 21st, she got to drive my taco to lunch where her first legal drink was apple pie moonshine... Combine that with the fact that she loves working on my truck almost as much as I do + dealing with all my medical shit and I'd say she's looking like wifey material! Now if only she'd give in and get a 4 runner instead of the Jeep renegade she's been drooling over.

    Too much to list!
Time for the reliability talk. "Do you want to drive the truck or repair it all the time?" :mudding:

The same shit everyone else has.
Sorted out my prototype DIY Rotopax Fuelpax mount to the point I think Im happy with it.

Needs a little tweaking still like adding a nutsert in the bed side and bolt to the bottom side of the mount to stiffen everything up a bit more, then a quick coat of paint and it should be 100% done.

I got a chance to get a weld up my diy bed stiffeners. My buddy cut the gusset out with his waterjet. I'll try to finish painting tonight and install tomorrow.

What have I done to my Tacoma in the last 2 weeks?.... Well...

    I got a camper/cap/shell...

I painted the shell... ($6 worth of paint from lowes is a MORE than close enough match.)

Started the CAD for the bed setup I have literally been planning in my head and on napkins for 2 years... Hot water, cold/drinking water, cooking setup, storage, room for a 5 foot folding table, etc...

    Started building said system...

Designed, 3D printed and building a 6 relay/fuse block setup. Total overkill, but cool.

Designed my final MAIN fuse/relay panel (its currently in the middle of a 60 hour print)

AND installed ditchlight brackets from CBI Offroad Fab (awesome btw) and some pods. Oh and I washed the truck.

Sorry for the spam... I'll go work on my build log now... :):muscleflexing:

Check the Deals sub-forum. There's a link in there to a 10k Smittybilt for under $500

Looks great. What is the setup in the rear?

Me too. Shipping is a bit steep, so you've got to buy a lot of stuff to make up for it.

Question to the group, two weeks ago I installed the OME Dakar leaf pack. Always had a little vibration even before the install, I also installed the shim kit to drop drive shaft and it still vibrates when I accelerate from a stop. Once moving its smooth, I took it to the garage near my house and they think the drive shaft is bent someware, the warrentee company wants to try balancing the the drive shaft before they will consider replacing the whole thing. Has anybody expirenced this and what was the issue? Any insight is very much appriceated!

A slight shudder on take off is a common thing with these trucks when lifting the rear. I had it with my truck, but it was so faint that I just let it be. It'll just take some playing around finding the right combo of carrier bearing drop and axle shims.
