Lift and tire size help........

I have a 2007 Tacoma with stock wheels with 265/70/16 rugged terrain tires. I am due for new tires soon and I want to go bigger, of course. I am going to install a 2.5'' front leveling kit and a 1'' block in the rear. My question is, does anybody know if I will be able to install 285/75/16 bf goodrich kos with out any rubbing issues or should I stick with the 265/75/16 bfs.

You'll rub at least on the fenderwells - maybe on the UCA's as well ...

^^ He's right - it's a wise choice. BUT, if you can get aftermarket UCA's, which I think you can get for around $400 now, you'll love the 285s. They make the truck look mean as hell.

 

I just installed 285's. I added a 3" lift in the front, and had to do a little cutting on the fenders. But yes, it looks awesome. Better pics to come soon.

 

Thanks for the feed back. You guys helped me out. I didnt want to turn this into a bigger project that it already is.......money wise so I am going to stick with the 265/75/16s!
