Object in tire - to fix or not?

    anything metal in a tire is going to cause a flat at some point. Id get it patched if its oblong, if its a staple it will prob leak when you remove it. I use the DIY plugs for nails etc and they usually hold good for the life of the tire.

    Get it fixed now before it becomes a bigger problem later on and you're kicking yourself in the ass wishing you had fixed it sooner.

    I always carry a plug kit, compressor, torque wrench (with appropriate sockets for lugnuts) and it saved my ass 1/2 wat between Billings MT and Sheridan WY last year. I have roadside assistance but at 7pm in the middle of MT I wasn't waiting around for them. 15 minutes later I was back on the road and had zero issues with that tire since plugging it.

    the plugs have saved me numerous times...even on my atv Ive used them a couple times.

    Have it removed and have a rsdial patch put in the tire it should be ok . If not have it fixed and remounted on the spare tire rim . That should get you through until you need new tires
