That's funny. I thought about putting an RC track on my property. More than enough room for a race track and a crawl course. But, I don't think it would get enough use to justify the work.

Think I'm going to try the proline interco bloggers tho, there 1.9s but there 5.5 tall so they should work good without a ton of rubbing since there still narrow

Hey people. I am curious about something. Back in 1995 I purchased and built an old RC10 kit. It has the steel chassis, none of this plastic stuff. I have a lot of parts (I need to check my storage unit and get some photos) and would like to see someone get some joy from it....as I did. It is currently set up for electric, and I did a few mods on it, but after all this time, I am sure it would need to be stripped down.

Question is, is there a market for those old frames? What would the going price be for something like that? I will be going to storage next weekend and snap a few photos, but if someone wants to give me some insight, I would appreciate it. My new expenses are my Tacoma (of course) and motorcycles so radio controlled stuff would not be in my current budget.

    Thanks!

There is a market for vintage. Value will be relative to condition as most are kept as shelf queens from my understanding.

The gold pan rc10 with the alloy chassis has been reissued a couple of times in the past few years, so it isn't as rare as one might think.

I couldn't honestly give you a value on what yours is worth, eBay would likely give you an idea though

I have a set of 1.9 boggers made by RC4WD. They are super nice. Tall and narrow.

So my 8ight t 3.0 is almost done with it's mild overhaul. I was thinking of getting a Futaba PV3 with the telemetry receiver. Anyone have or tried this radio? I've never been wanting to spend $400 on a top of line the radio with features that I will never use. The PV3 seems like it is plenty and from a reputable brand. I don't think I've posted any pics of the 3.0 yet, so once it is done, I'll get some pics up.

I run a spektrum dx4c. Stores multiple models so it works with both the scx10 and yeti

Ya I almost went with a Spektrum too. I have the lower one that came with my Mini 8ight t and it is really good for a RTR. But most of my buddies run Futaba and they swear by them. Almost got the 4PLS, after trying out my friend's but it just seemed like stuff that I would never use. The 3PV has a lot of the features of the PLS just not backlit screen and a few small things. I can store 10 models, I think? in the 3PV.
