    On pressure side, vacuum side it won't help since it's like drinking a big gulp through a coffee stir straw.

    But how i have it routed through the panel is the choke point, so thinking a larger hose won't do much.

    Not necessarily, try siphoning through a large hose as opposed to a smaller hose. You get cavitation with a larger hose.

    I'd try the pump by itself, with a length of tube, and see what the vertical lift is with no restriction

    Also, is the pump meant to be submerged Instead if trying to draw through a tube?

    It worked fine with the same 30" lines on each side during my test runs. Now intake goes through a 1/4" fitting through the panel.

    Too bad, it would work better submerged. Maybe try a different pump.

    Except the fact that I'd need to wire it up to be outside or drag a bucket into the back of the truck.

    You may not approve of the pump design, but it uses a common sink sprayer for the shower head, so it only flows when the trigger is pulled. Saves on water being used.

    Yeah I've adjusted the shower head situation, adjustable 11" arm which will get it out over the shower tent thing. Shower head has an on/off slide on it.

    Yours is definitely more refined than mine.
    It consists of a bucket, submersible pump, and a battery connector for my RV plug off the rear.
    Water is heated on the Coleman stove before use.
    I stand on a wooden lattice, to keep feet out if the mud. And that is hands down the best thing I did.

    Function over form... The motto of the build. Found them cleaning out the tool box and they were the perfect size and thickness for a heat shield. It's not really needed, but figured i should be safe.

    I cut the rear seat floor mat (was out of the xj but worked) it's similar to a husky mat, so i think I'm going to use the cut side for a shower mat. Because yeah it sucks standing in mud!

    Before i used one of those knee pads from hd.

    My ghetto, yet very functional setup.
    Reservoir, submersible pump, battery connection which happens to interface with a common cigarette lighter..
    and the all important kitchen sink sprayer/shower head.
