After a lot of research I finally made a commitment on some nerf bars. Got some Tyger Star Armor and really happy with them! I didn't want anything bulky and wanted something that hugged the body more. They fit perfect and only took about 20 minutes to install. I think I looked at every option out there.. even tried to order gen2 running boards, but everybody is back ordered. Cost was a factor too. Wanted to stay under $300.

I was in the same boat as you. Wanted a nice "step" bar that was tucked up well, looked good, and was priced decent. After doing some research I bought a set of these off Amazon for my double cab. Holy crap, they were so much better than I expected! Very well built, great fit and finish, and look great! I could have done without the stars but they really are not as bad as I thought they would be. Anyway, I also ordered their bed cover and it was also top notch for a vinyl tri fold bed cover. I had both installed in under 30 minutes (with a extra set of helping hands). If you are in the market for either of the these add ons I highly recommend grabbing them......prices will surely go up soon.

My rock sliders have fill plates that I step on does that count?
