Good morning and happy Monday. Work. Coffee.

Yeah they would come after you for that rosewood, been since the early 90's since you could import it. I love rosewood also. One of the reasons I collect old hand planes is the rosewood handles on them like the pair behind the pup.

And I just like old fashioned hand planes. And rosewood.

Well my opinion is neither respected or worth much LOL. I smoked hundreds of pounds of trout and salmon on a cheap electric smoker before the Ex threw it away. I'm a believer in a separate smoker for fish and another for everything else.

Depends on what you want to use it for, temps when smoke, how much will you use it, etc. Never was a fan of electric smokers until SD last year when the Admiral rolled one out and we put a couple of pork butts in it plugged it in and drove off all day. When we got home from hunting pulled it and couldn't tell the difference from it and wood fired. But I think you need to get up into the $500+ to get a good one. As in one that will last and also insulated well and consistent temps.

Most go to an electric smoker so they don't have to baby sit it and monitor all the time. I use a Weber Smokey Mountain with an automatic temperature controller fan. And do the same just set it and forget it until the meat is done. Very happy with the setup Will pick up another WSM when they go on sale for fish.

You would be correct... Colby isn't what it used to be think they just make it and ship it now. Have purchased sharp cheddar all over Wi. and it just isn't as sharp as it used to be. Doesn't matter how aged it is can be half full of crystals but still just lacking that sharpness I like. The English stuff is all that I can find that is close. Oh trust me I eat a lot of Wi. cheese :) From Hook's on the East coast of Wi. to Nelson Cheese on the West coast of Wi.

Don't forget the Power PC fiasco, and propriety hardware and software. My son is level 2 support for Apple so am fine with them. As long as someone else buys their stuff, just not me. Moto Turbo lasted 2 years fine until I tried to run it through the washer. Didn't really care for that. Replaced it with a Moto Z force and still pleased. Have tried different droid manufactures over the years and keep coming back to Motorola. I feel they are slightly more rugged than the typical phone out there. Just don't leave it in the side pocket of your Carhartt's and throw them in the wash.

    Morning all
I have been throwing them away, had to ask Billy to stop sending them.
Mike had a run in with the elderly lady across the street, when she put her foot in the drive way he was fixing. It sent him over the edge
    Someone forgot to unhook

Remember when they had to hunt us down through landlines?
... Don't know why I thought of that, but now that I have, those were simpler, easier, calmer times, huh? ;)

 I still remember landing in Goose Bay - Newfoundland, Canada in August of 1986 on the way back from rotation TDY with a C130 squadron at RAF Mildenhall. Check into lodging, cause we're there a week while the planes come through heading back to Pope. Get to my room (two to a room, no phone in room, but a hall phone on each floor. Within 5 mins of walking in the room, that hall phone rings and it's my wife. My buddies were absolutely amazed. Wife used to work in bill collections back then, she knew how to talk her way through operators and find folks. :)
