I just installed my sliders and they look GREAT! I've reached out to @RelentlessFab by email but wanted to get your guys opinion on a couple things.

First! here they are! DCSB, no kickout, powder coated with custom fill plate!

    1. On the driver's side, After gently bending and moving brake and fuel lines that were originally attached to the frame with clips, what did you do to re-secure them to the frame?

    2. On the passenger's side, what did you do to attach the box with electrical as the box does not fit in the same spot after slider install? pictures below:
    Before:
    page3image1320.jpg
    After:IMG_2709.jpg

I thought about just turning it and using one screw to secure it but it looked like that pushed this metal piece into a rubber grommet:
    IMG_2718.jpg
    3. Is 8 bolt points enough per side? Is it strong enough with the two nut levers, 5 through larger holes into their heavy duty washers, and the one screw into the U-bracket? I found that other holes on the frame that matched up with holes n the slider were too small.

    4. Finally, after installing i realized i didn't paint the heavy duty square washers which looked like raw steel. What do you recommend to keep them from rust. Completely removing the sliders to paint them doesn't sound fun...

I just installed Mobtowns, there setup seemed to match up a little better to the frame, but here is my .02.

    1. I didn't reattach them.
    2. I had a similar issue w/ that passenger box but there were holes, that plastic cover had to be notched to go around one of the supports. I would probably go with your suggestion and tilt it with one screw attaching it should be fine.
    3. I can't really speak to this one, Mobtown really seemed to error on the side of caution when it came to supporting to the frame... it's probably good? Other people are using them with some success.
    4. Personally, I would probably remove one at a time and give a quick coat myself. You shouldn't have to remove the entire slider.

Hope this helps, they look good!

for hte box with the plastic cover. Just unhock the cable loom and you'll be able to angle it without the metal tab hitting the rubber grommet.

See here/below for what I did with the brake lines. I used cheap rubber grommets from Home Depot and zipties. I may have been the person @cblow5 was referring to.

Thanks! Always another project burning a hole in my pocket. My build page reached a limit of photos for a single post so now I have to delete some as I want to add more for mods :facepalm:

I do that when I want to post high-res photos since TW media downsizes all images when uploaded. Your limited to 150 images per post though regardless of where they are hosted (TW media, imgur, etc)

Yeah... I went a little crazy with that one. I had a hell of a time installing them, needed various hardware, and there wasn't a good set of instructions so I spent way too much time making that. It's for SOS sliders but portions are applicable to all bolt-on sliders for the third gens

Yeah, relentless provides heavy duty washers, but i overlooked the fact that they were raw. I guess it can be a one at a time thing for a week to take em off, paint, let em dry, replace.... ugh... I might look at the hardware store or see if i can buy some more from relentless so i can paint them and get all done one at a time in one sitting.

Yeah, disregard. I would paint those for sure. That looks like bare metal in your last pics, see the difference in finish between the nut and the plate?

    @Shmellmopwho @minium

    Just heard back from relentless.
    3. They say there should be 10 bolts preside and recommend drilling out the frame to fit the 1/2in bolts. Would you do that or move down a bolt size to retain the stock frame?
    4. washers are RAW, and not stainless!

I'm thinking of going down in bolt size for the remaining holes, getting those secure, then removing the 5 bolts with RAW washers on each side and painting them.

    Thoughts?

I didn't drill out my frame for my SOS ones. I used 1/2" hardware for most locations but 3/8" where appropriate. I have 8 bolts on one side and 9 on the other. They seem super stout.
