For the most part this screenshot reads exactly like the 3rd gen forum. Exactly.

Well not exactly. I guess our ticking noise comes from the engine not the wheel.

Smitty - I will say it again - sell your "turd gen." You loathe this truck. You got a lemon, or at least your complaints sound like it, then dumped cash into it for a lift, tires etc..... Maybe you could have used that cash for the trade in hit?

No I'm not selling it. I'm not trading it. You are stuck with me. Ignore me or get used to it.

Dam it, if I ignore you, I will have no idea why everyone one is bitching at you, and there is no way I can get used to the amount of complaining you do when my truck seems to operating as expected.

I'm not ignoring anyone - just trying to help Smitty. I never liked my 2014 CR-V EX and I was a Honda guy then due to my civic. Anyhoo, I traded it in after ~2.75 years of ownership for the Taco and much happier with my transportation. This broke my vehicle replacement cycle, but I simply did not want a ~$30000 depreciating asset that I dislike, that is all - carry-on folks.

Want to get about 5 or 6 years on this truck, let the depreciation level out then will look to dump. Also I have 8 year 125k platinum warranty from Corporate for all of the issues my truck has had so want to use as much of that up as possible.

Will be looking very hard at the first couple years of new Ranger when it comes out and at any potential redesign if Toyota decides to redeem themselves with the Tacoma.

I'd like to private sell it with about 40k miles or 2 years left on the warranty. This will be transferrable to private buyer and I'll maximize value that way.

You're all funny, brand new GMC 2500hd, not a lot of miles, just under 11k, no problems, none. Drive it every day, almost a thousand miles a week, none of you have present day experience with the vehicals you bash into the ground. Drove Tacomas for 20 years, this base work truck has more usable features then either Sport or Off-road.

I was going to say the same thing, looks almost identical. Also the White Knights on here like to point out that there must be 250,000 on the road now so there will be some with issues. There are probably 4 times as many Silverado's produced in the same period of time so you could expect more complaints just because of more volume of trucks.

Me I have yet to have 1 problem, NOT a single issue with my truck @ 7600mi in ~5/6 months. Just like you - but the Sierra, like the Tacoma has its own issues.
