Okay it was faster then I thought to find it.

If you go down on that page, past where he describes the how of it all, you will see 3 links. You can then go into Avenza, Under the Maps section, hit the + for import and provide it the entire link to the 4x4 file (http://hildstrom.com/projects/hfap/hfap-4x4-geo.tif). This will import the one he created with the gps coordinates built in. You can import 3 maps in total using Avenza free edition and the guy on that site provides 3 maps, one for 4x4, one for motorcycle and one for atv.

Then when you are at HF, the blue dot will line up with where you are. It doesnt really work unless you are somewhere on the HF map.

There are some great maps of hidden falls in google earth, which you can export to Gaia, Maps.me or any other GPX or KML/KMP formatted GPS.

This should work, you'll need to register with Gaia GPS's site to access and download it.



You can select any of these routes or just use the whole map to nav around. Good luck, watch for boulders.
