We looked for a place on the Gulf Coast of Texas here but apparently you need to book 5 years in advance.

 

Hell yeah I'll be at Nags head around mile post 11. We can hit some piers and maybe catch some Spanish Makeral.

 

Mmm, DFW to the Outer Banks is a bit of a haul.

So just move there problem solved! I may look at a house there when we go down

 

Nine years to retirement, I will figure it out when I get there.

 

We have before but not for years. We stayed in houses from Duck down through Hatteras and just kinda settled in that area

 

1,432.6 road miles ... long way yes ... or you could hop a plane ...

You don't need to go every year ... but every couple or few years ... why not?

 

Shit you've already got Casa De Green to escape to. You'll go from desert running to trail riding through the big timber

My way is simpler ... keep figuring out the next job that will get another retirement check.

 

Last time I was out that way we flew into Byrd Airport but it was family business. To be in Hatteras without my truck would be hard. I'd have to rent a Heep or something. Just another reason to go ahead and retire.

 

I'm so ready to move down there. People say it's really dead in the winter and that sounds good to me.
