So as the title states I still have the vibe that goes away with 4 wheel engaged. I have a 3/2 leveling kit with a diff drop, all MotoFab. Any thoughts on the issue?

Who did the install and what gear oil are you using?

Toyota did the install and probably used stock oil.

Is it coming from the drivers side?

Very odd. Go under the truck and wiggle each CV axle. If there's more play in the drivers side than the passenger side, then that would explain the vibrations. Odd that the bushing didn't fix it.

Just want to make sure I'm clear, you sourced and provided the ECGS bushing and a Toyota dealership installed it. They didn't just install another stock needle bearing that has now failed?

That's correct. I did have to pay for the install.

Take the diff drop out and run it for a hundred miles.

I was thinking about doing that. Do you think it'll make a difference?

By doing it you will have a better chance to isolate the source.

I don't think it will hurt anything and may be the source. From what I'm told the 3rd gen doesn't need a diff drop for anything 3 inches and under.

I follow the same logic but each situation is different. I've experienced the diff bearing issue but ended up resolving it with a locker. But while we are taking about diff drops, take a moment to read this thread.

I hate when people link that thread as if it relates to anyone else on here. That dude had a shit design for his skid and was asking to get it messed up.

It's worth reading and considering. I agree that the arrangement was less than ideal but as I stated, each situation is different.

    You're mileage may vary.

Yup, when you change more than one thing at a time you don't know what is causing the problem.
