hey guys, just brought my first truck/Tacoma and I'm new to the off roading world coming from a sports car back ground if that means anything lol, but on to the question, I'm looking for a solid lift kit to gain 3 inches of clearance on my sr5, this is my daily driver and im looking to spend between 400-800 on the lift, and if you guys have any other suggestions im all ears.

You won't get much for that kind of money. Save up and do it right the first time. Plan to spend about 1500 to 2000 to get it all done right. If you can do the labor yourself you might be able to save 500 off that. Cheap lifts and spacer lifts get no love here. Try the search feature you'll find plenty of info on the lifts. Also try the Suspension Forum. Then look at the link in my signature below for the 6112 /5160 combo. Good luck.
