How about those Golden State Warriors?

Warriors struggle on offense the entire game. Only Durant has a good game. Defense, holds the Jazz down. Warriors take game three with good defense and a couple timely shots in the 4th quarter.

Warriors pound Utah in the 1st and 4th quarters. But Utah made a hellova game of it in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. But, in the end, the Warriors were too much for the Jazz.

Game 1 vs the San Antonio Spurs

Warriors looked like dogshit in the first half. Hell, they were down 25 with 8 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. Spurs lost Leonard at that point. Then the Warriors turned it around. Good thing, too. They had more turnovers than points halfway through the first half. Thompson couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. Curry finally got hot in the 3rd. They pulled off a squeaker.

Cleveland returned home and responded with a 120–90 win in Game 3, but the Warriors won Game 4 to take a 3–1 series lead. The Cavaliers won the next three games to become the first team in Finals history to successfully overcome a 3–1 deficit. It also marked the first time since 1978 that Game 7 was won by the road team.

Warriors destroy the Spurs 136-100. Thought the Spurs might come out tough and try to prove a point. No heart tonight.

The down 3 games to one is still in the record books. One team on the positive side and the other on the night so positive side.

Warriors played a tough game. Durant went crazy in this one. No stopping them this game.

PS - How about those Cleveland LeBrons? Choked in their first home game of the Conference Finals. Tough loss. Didn't think the Celtics had a snowballs chance in hell. But....

Now they wait 9 days for Game 1. Will it be Cleveland, or will Boston pull off a big upset.

 

Oh! Oh, how about those Golden State Warriors.

Sure, it's only one game, and given what happened last year, it's way early. But last year, the Warriors were gassed after trying, and getting, the Best Record in a season. Then Curry was hurt in the Playoffs. Thompson sucked, and Green did himself in, with some help from crying LeBron, complaining to the league. In the end, they didn't get it done. Now, everyone is healthy, and Durant joined the team. It was too much for the Cavs. Even though the Warriors shot crappy in the 1st half, the Warriors pounded the Cavs in the second half. I was surprised that Tristan Jones was non factor. The telling number was 20+ turnovers for Cleveland. 4 turnovers for Golden State

Wow, what a game. Tight one for three quarters. Then the Warriors put it into another gear, and leave most Cavs gasping for air, on the bench.

Incredible Game 3. Holy smokes. Officiating seemed a little one sided. Ah, Warriors go on an 11-0 run in the final 3 minutes to erase a 6 point deficit.

After watching most of the Stanley cup playoffs and all of the finals, and listening to all the interviews, then watching the last 3 minutes of the NBA finals and some interviews....i dislike NBA basketball even more. The hockey players celebrated as a team, all interviews were answered with "we". NBA guys individually show boating and nothing but "I" in interviews. Just terrible what the NBA has become

 

I guess the only dismal satisfaction is that the warriors didn't run the table. Not much satisfaction though.

 

Left the country for vacation after Game 3. Just finished watching Game 5 tonight. First day back from Tanzania.
