I am looking into these as well. The highest I've found is 200 pound capacity and my tent has a shipping weight of 235 pounds. I'm worried it will be too much even after unpacking it.

So, just throwing this out there. Tread lightly. Proceed at your own risk. Don't step on snek.

I've been on RTT research (aka obsessively attempting to find every and each brand) kick over the past week or so and while I, personally, would prefer to shell out waaay more cash for a name I trust, if you go and search Ali Baba or similar sites, you can pick up a soft RTT for $200-$500 or a hard shell RTT for $500-$850. Obviously, you are buying questionable quality shit from China and most of the orders require a purchase of 5 or more, I am pretty sure there are at least 5 people on this forum who would go that way with no hesitation. Shit, I have Harbor Freight and Ryobi shit that outlasted my prized Snap-On tools.

You'll be fine. This thing is rated at 250lbs, meaning it would handle 300 with no hesitation. Just make sure its' properly installed. That would be your weakest point.

Trust me, I know. my 20" light bar actually fell off last year on a trail run and pogo sticked my front differential and cracked it in half.

I'm looking at the @SRQ_Fabrications skid plates

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
Alibaba can have some great deals, but it's really intended for buying a lot of stuff wholesale. By the time you put a tent in a container, move it across the ocean, and pay the import fees, your cost will be double. Still could be a good deal, but don't expect an $800 tent to actually cost you $800
