if it goes away in 4wd, it will be drivers side clamshell bushing, search ecgs and you will read about it, and how to fix.

Thanks for getting it out as soon as you got it in. The wait was a killer but there was no substituting your lift for any other IMO. Awrite!

Finally got some work done and installed most of my toytec goodies. Was quite a wait but I'm supper happy how everything turned out. I installed the boss suspension with #650 springs, spc lr UCA, and AAL. Still contemplating install of the toytec 1" body lift but will install the toytec bump stops probably next weekend I'm off from work. Couple of things that required some work was the removal of the passenger side UCA bolt. I basically murdered the underside of my fender just to have enough clearance for the bolt to be removed. It literally touches the radiator support. The next thing was the removal of the aals. Those are super heavy if you're doing it by yourself! Then aligning the damn leaf springs were a pain lol! Despite that, I'm happy to say, the ride quality feels pretty damn stockish if not softer so for me that's deserves a solid 10!!! I'll wait until everything settles before I mess with the shocks as I didn't adjust them from their factory setting. Oh, and I just had my wheels, tires, and alignment done today after suspension work over the weekend. Here's my 2017 white taco with method wheels wrapped in bfg ko2s 280/70/17 and yes, for now, now rubbing issues.

I hate to post something like this about a suspension that I thought felt 100% better than the suspension that came with my limited edition tacoma. I got a recall notice about my rear differential so I went to look to see if there was any leaking. There was none so that was good. But I looked at my rear shocks for the first time the tops of the are all corroded and starting to rusting. Then I went to look at my front suspension and one shock is blown and leaking oIL out the top, the other one looks okay. I've had the suspension on for 1 year 1 month, these shocks should not have done this so fast. The truck has only been on Highway and paved roads, never seen mud even. I got a call into toytec and tomorrow I will be calling my installer. I hope toytec will cover all of this under warrenty. I'm just amazed that they are failing already.

If your location is right and you are in New Jersey, I could see the rust/corrosion happening after one winter. The East coast is horrible on suspensions and frames. So much salt. I have a friend who's truck spent most of its life here in Colorado. He spent one winter in upstate N.Y. with it and then move back to Colorado. We were all amazed at how much surface rust had developed in just one season. And that was with him adamantly washing his truck off every weekend during the winter.

In regards to the oil leaking, make sure to take pictures as I am sure Toytec will ask for them. Sometimes the shock just burps a bit of oil from the pressure and isn't leaking or blown. But I cannot say that for sure because I have not seen your shock.

The Boss 2.0. The ride is great but if I get another year out of them I'll be lucky how they look. My install company was shocked and they called toytec also. Let's see what it going to happen. Right now I am not happy.

Do you have the ecgs needle bearing replacement bushing installed? I had vibes on deceleration with my boss lift installed and got the replacement bushing installed and vibes gone.
