We have a week off of work. Driving from PDX to Moab over night. We want to do archers/Zion/Grand staircase etc for the six days that we will be there. I have a pretty solid Tacoma. Winch/RTT/armor etc. Online I see it's about 300 miles total apart of everything we want to do. We are going the day after Memorial Day.

With all that said where's the best places to just pull out of the parks and camp out of the pickup? We will have 30gallons of water. 10 gallons of gas and enough food for weeks. Been looking at the forums and it seems like camping out of your truck is difficult in many areas an banned. Any advice for a Oregonian that never been?

I guess reason I'm posting is because we went to Yosemite a couple weeks ago and it was illegal to just pop your tent out and sleep for the night everywhere. We were kinda turned off by it. Everything was "private property". Used to Oregon life where no one gives a Fuck.

Check out the BLM land surrounding the Park Service areas. The BLM is more flexible and lots of cool camping.
