    You know Chief, I just don't get the whole mid-life crisis bit; I guess I am lucky. This is absolutely no critique of you, but more your ex, or my confusion over folks who can just walk away from a long term marriage. :confused:

    Marriage isn't easy, any couple who says they never argue, or go thru hot and cold spells, are holding a crap load in or just bald face lying. But after a certain point of learning to accommodate each other, build a family, build security, share good and bad .... I just personnaly CANNOT imagine going through all that CRAP again. :boom:

    But then, I witnessed some BS growing up and my folks split 5 years after I ran away and joined the Air Force, after 25 yrs of marriage. It could be that the same time 12 yr old me figured out the score, I learned more than I realized at the time. :notsure:
    ... or I'm just damn lucky and drew a winner (or Kristi is in it for Sainthood putting up with my @ss ;) )

    Morning all :hattip:..

    Going on 48 years with the missus. She had her mid life crisis and fell in love with...a 2007 Audi Cabriolet convertible. I thought if that's the worse of it, I got a good one. 4 years ago she decided it was time to update to an SUV. The day we went to pick it up, she cried so being the loving(ahem) caring:)rolleyes:eek:_O) husband I am I offered to trade the Tacoma in and renegotiate the deal. She told me that she knows how much I love the Tacoma so the Audi is going. Love that girl.
    We have had our ups and downs, and have gone days without talking after an argument, but we always manage to make up and carry on. Now we are not only husband and wife, but best friends. I learned early in our marriage that the grass ISN'T always greener in the other persons yard. They had more weeds than I did:eek:.
    Kids today don't appreciate what they have or can have if they both work at it.
