Ouch. I could see that happening. every time I started with out my googles I stopped got up and grabbed them. My son scratched his cornea on his first day of his job last year.It is fresh in my memory. Drove him crazy all day and the ER did tests and gave him drops and 3 different doctors looked at it. Made it worse then it already was.

Got a lot of stuff lol
The sad part I was wearing safety glasses when I took them off something fell in. When I finished I was using an old pair of ski goggles which are now what I'll be using for future stuff. I love the difference is ride quality after the shackle flip.

Ride quality is a massive improvement, eliminated alot of my rear squeak also.

I had just noticed some squeaky springs last week. After the flip the squeak is gone. Also noticed the improved ride quality and my procomps are not clunking on passenger side anymore. hopefully the improvements are permanent. Glad I put my big boy pants on and did the flip. Flip is the way to go. Ordered the LCE today so that is next up.

Nice upgrades! I think I slashed a tire off-roading, or someone slashed it. So had to get new tires, got all terrains now. I could hear my engine struggling now kinda sucks, I liked hearing my howling mts, couldn't even hear the engine lol. Didn't notice it was that bad. I'm gonna need a regear sooner than I thought. I was thinking we should make our own shock towers instead!

Now that we can, are you adding the longer shackles? I am considering the ATO for about $100. Do you know what other ones fit? Not sure if I Want to push my luck with more lift though.

I currently have xj shackles with optional 6 to 8 inche length options sitting in a box. Was gonna throw them on along with some bilstein shock extensions and bumpstops but some things in life got in the way of the install. ATO has said not to upgrade the shackle longer than 6inches. Buuuuuut we'll see how long my wrench can stay prone for that o_O

Hoping to install my Chinese/eBay lift kit this weekend. I don't feel like I have to justify my decision to go cheap, but FYI this is a clapped out old beater. (250k). If I had a nicer truck I would have gotten something nicer. Also, those 13 year old Chinese kids are getting really good at welding. Also also, it's such a simple design it's hard to fuck up.

My other vehicle (RSX-S) is in the body shop, so I need to have it back together by Monday. In true shade tree fashion I will be wrenching in the backyard, laying in the dirt, cinder blocks as Jack stands, smoking cigarettes and cussing.IMG_20170502_184535949.jpg

I got new 4600's, and Moog strut mounts and bushings for the front. For the rear I got some used (27k) TRD Bilsteins. Not sure if I should replace any bushings out back. Input is appreciated.

They're built pretty good at least the ones I got lol, I've off-roaded enough on them to know they're safe. Now that I remember mine was from a SoCal seller.

Well I'm in the works to obtaining the parts then I'll just need my shock tab moved which is probably going to be the hardest since I won't weld it myself
