Hello. I just installed a rebuilt 2.7 in my 98 tacoma and coils aren't sparking not are the injectors firing. Have not yet installed any belts. Checked cam and crank sensors. Any ideas? Thanks, Scott

fuses first then check the following grounds... battery to block, firewall to head, injector harness to intake manifold.

Thanks for your reply. I have all those grounds connected and have checked all fuses in cab and engine bay. Still no fire. Really stumped. There is fuel at the fuel rail but my spark plugs are dry.

Could be a relay? maybe something with the mas air flow sensor, I'm not sure, but I don't think they will start if it's unhooked?

Howdy, a long shot here... Have you considered the ignition switch itself failing internally. Just went through a bad scene with a failed ign switch on an old Honda. It had spark and fuel downstream of the filter (fuel pump went on) , but not at the injectors.
