The wheels are brand new SCS Ray 10s. They were brand new when they went on and I inspected each one, they're not bent. They rode like crap the moment they went on the truck with new tires. They went on the brand new tires. I bought both brand new wheels and brand new tires so I could eliminate all of the variables.

    Do you run wheel spacers?

Nope no wheel spacers. The backspacing on my Ray10s is enough for me lol.

What about a bad wheel bearing?

Could be but I can most certainly feel that it's the tires. They rode fine for a few days, until the wheel weights flew off because the shop that put them on didn't clean the surface good enough before sticking them on. If it were a bad wheel bearing I would expect it to not even ride fine at all at any point. Even my last set, that had 2 tires out of round, rode better than these new ones. Also the steering wheel doesn't shake as much as I can feel the vibration throughout the truck. I drove on the smoothest road in my town and could definitely feel the vibe in the back of the drivers seat and in the bottom cushion. Truck only has 35k miles on it, of course depending on driving style and conditions I suppose a wheel bearing could go bad.

Maybe try switching out tires with another member to see if you still have the vibe.
It would take away the tire and wheel variable
I've always heard if yu feel a vibe in your seat it's coming from the rear end
Off the wall but have you checked torque on your leaf springs?

Good point, I'm gonna stand by and watch them balance them again, if they end up doing it again at least.

I could definitely probably find someone here locally that would let me. Forgot to mention that I can feel it in the floor too. But leaf spring should be fine. Just got new Dakars put on 3 months ago after ARB replaced my last set out of warranty since they were squeaking like crazy. Had my trusted local Toyota shop install em for me so they should be fine.

I would ty and switch wheel set up with someone
I would double check all suspension torques
IMO it almost sound like a driveline vibration

I'll definitely try that for sure. I know it's not the driveline vibrating because I know in my truck that I can feel the driveline vibes while stopped. This is a pretty rough vibration. And it feels like there's bumps in the road, when there really aren't. Imagine driving down a freshly paved road but you can feel in your tires a constant bump and shimmy, like a wobble. Since I've had my tires be out of round before I'm very familiar with what it feels like. Of course everything you've suggested doesn't hurt to try at all.

Thanks! That's in line with what I've seen on other people's trucks. Looks like I'll probably go that way with my next set.

Just did it today. 255/85R16. So far on road seems pretty decent. I notice the extra rotational mass more so with braking than I do acceleration. Running 35psi at the moment and they are comfortable. The thick sidewalls actually provide a more responsive steering feeling in my opinion. Noise, what noise? I almost wish these were a little louder.
Can't wait to see what the can do on the trails.

Give it time. They get much louder as they wear. You'll love everything about them though. Best tire I've ever had.

Is anyone running these in a 255/85/16 on OR wheels with white letters out?

I really like the white letters out on BFG's but don't care for that tire...

I've got them on OR wheels but if I'm not mistaken they don't offer this tire with white letters.
