Truck is sitting in front of me as I type this, Here is the setup I am planning to use, informed people please chime in with thoughts.

Using a long ~20' run of 2 gauge wire from battery + to rear quick disconnect (will eventually have an isolation switch so is not always hot)
Short 2 gauge to a frame ground for rear quick disconnect

2 gauge wire run from battery + to front quick disconnect
2 gauge ground for front quick disconnect run to frame or battery (not sure what Im doing here yet)

Is there any other things I should be aware of while I dive into this?

Is it necessary / helpful to do the "big 3" ? If so where is a good tutorial on this I cant find one anywhere for tacomas.

That all sounds good, but you need some way for a lot of current to flow between the negative battery terminal and the frame. The stock setup has a heavy cable from the battery to the motor and a small ground wire from the battery to the fender. if you don't do something better, you will smoke the small ground wire. I've seen people replace battery cables and hook the negative cable to the body. And then they wonder why it smokes the ground strap when they start it.

My understanding is that the big ground runs from battery to motor and motor to frame. That is why I asked about the "big 3" Which is a upgrade for the ground wires. I would be wiring the negative to the frame (not to the body)
