Was a choice between shipping it free of charge and having it for the year, or not having it and paying to store it out of pocket.

    Easy choice for this guy.

Did mine in my garage. Kind of depends on your knowledge, ability, and tools as to whether you can do it yourself at home

It really depends on you and your willingness to get in there. There is quite a bit of info on here and youtube. It's also nice if you have a backup person around who could help if you need it.

Cruisin offroad bumper, RCI front skid, Bakflip Tonneau Cover, Westin Running Boards, door molding, Blazer Led lights, Bed Lights, DIY Bed/rear cab mats, 3M Clear Bra (Hood and Fenders), Husky front floor mats, re diff relocated, Coverking seat covers
Washed and shined the truck up, also re-adjusted the bumper last night and sealed up the gaps between bumper and body. Turns out my rci skid was pushing against the bottom of the bumper thus making it crooked, so I had to cut the lip off of the skid. So that and a little reeming out of the mounting holes, Now everything sits happy :)

Eventually ill upgrade tires but not till I burn up the current ones lol

You can do this at home. Let us know where you are so other members here that are nearby can help. TacomaWorld is a family and we try to help each other if we can.

Construction began on my new high clearance rear bumper and soon hybrid front bumper this week. Hitch will be integrated behind a flip up tag design.

Front extended brake lines on, spindles tomorrow or next day. Waiting on the paint to cure.

Great idea. That'd be one less thing for me to hit my head on while under there. :)

Sounds like a plan. Like I said, lots of us all over the place and are willing to help. Here in my area I host a mod day at least once a month so the local members can come over and make use of my shop and tools to get projects done together. I wouldn't be surprised if you found something similar in the regional section of the forums for your area.

Could you explain your CB setup? I assume that's just a portable CB?
