Spacers are fine for light off-roading (read: basically dirt roads) anything with speed or lots of suspension cycling won't do well with spacers, chance of the stock or other shock or spring breaking.

I recommend Bilstein 5100's all around with fronts set at 1.75". Don't necessarily need a lift in the rear if you're running something like a 265/75/16 (although remember that lifts do NOT create more clearance for tires). 5100's will get you a little lift and quality for not that much money.

@Darkgoatracer just go with a basic 2.5-3in lift either bilstein or OME shocks with 885/887 springs. it should net you what you are looking for and improve handling and ride on and Offroad for decent price. With the cap in the back I would recommend a Dakar leaf pack and extended shocks in back to help smooth out ride and carry weight better. Probably longer break lines in rear and maybe upgrade bumps and or U bolt flip kit. And like David said tires if you need them. Let

I've got a full OME Nitrocharger kit with 886 coils and a Dakar leaf pack. I originally had a dealer installed spacer lift. I easily navigated greens/blues at Rausch Creek with the spacer lift, but having armor was important. The OME kit gave the truck an extra 1-2" above the 2" spacer lift. No more bro squat either. Don't forget that you may need new upper control arms to account for the increased travel. I went through Wheelers Off Road for the OME kit and they were excellent. Came in around a grand. UCA's are at least a 500 dollar day unfortunately.

We are meeting up north at 8am. I think we are about 1 hour from that Exxon. Plus or minus a few minutes for traffic/late people. Lets say 9:30am at the Big Apple Exxon.

The trail head is a few more minutes from there.
