Memorial day can be a good time to buy another car if you have to. What can be even better is going to a dealership AFTER a disappointing memorial day sale.

The Ford dealership near me has over 90 Escapes and 150 F-150's...someone could really cut a fat hog on one of these right now.

I recently found myself having to get another car after I just bought my Taco...the absolute last thing I wanted to do because two car payments suck. You can literally get a new car at a used car price right now. I just did this so I'm not buying another thing for 10 years o_O

To those looking to buy new vehicles:

How about you people stay home with your families and enjoy the day and remember the people the died for our freedom. Instead of wanting to buy a truck so people like me have to go and work this holiday weekend and be away from my family

For real, tho none of it on sale:

New quick pitch 6-person tent, queen air mattress, spinnerbaits, beer, rye whiskey, and hopefully a used base roof rack before Friday to carry my wife's freaking SUP so we don't have to take her Subaru!

Yeah stay home over the weekend but go to the dealer on Tuesday after they haven't sold any cars for 3 or 4 days then you can really kick them in the teeth. Ha Ha Ha

The last day of the month is typically always the best day to buy. Only exception would be certain manufacturer sales and rebates that end before the end of the month

I've been shopping estate sales and thrift stores for the past few years now so my need for retail items has been diminished.

Auctions are fun as well. There are even food auctions...this can be a bit risky though.

I work for myself which is always boom or bust and my wife went through two pay reductions because her job is downsizing. Economy still seems to be in the dumper.

So when things go on sale I tend to pay attention.

Right on. 9 hours has been the limit of my 14"

Buddy of mine has the 22" with this:
    https://www.bbqguys.com/pitmaster-i...kpid=2886100&gclid=CKqC_rvPh9QCFQxofgodQIkJfA

And has done 24 hr briskets.

I honestly didn't like smoked meats until I started doing my own. Now I'm sold hook, line, and sinker.

Does the flame shift up and down sporadically?
Does it leak ash out of the bottom?
How many times have you taken it back and the store says its "Normal"?

Nope it works great and it's flawless just like my old 2003 Tacoma, Ford Ranger and my 2011 GMC Sierra

How do you like the maverick? Started looking into this two weeks ago and got derailed. Definatley know I want wireless, but don't want to use my phone or tablet.

My smoker/grill is getting a workout this season. :D
