I'm heading to Chelan. Are there any good places to get myself in trouble with my truck around there?

Hells Canyon backpacking trip for my buddy Ben's Bachelor party. :bananadance:

Driving the truck with the RTT over to Pittsburg Landing, ID on Thursday, then we are taking a jet boat ride up the snake river about 25 miles then hiking back down to the trucks.

Chumstick Mountain has some pretty cool views. Not much "trouble" to get into though, just a FS road.

You're going to be hard pressed to find any camping between Dallas and Albany. I would say 90% of that area is private farm land. There's the McDonald-Dunn forest, but even that has a good bit of private property, and it's very dense. There's a pretty good size opening near the south side of the forest, but it's not very flat... I believe it's at the end of "road 650" but I haven't been in that area since I was like 17.

Most of the time it's pretty tame. Went up couple weekends ago and the first part of the trail off the Nahayum canoyom road was pretty bad with the ruts. It's been pretty warm this whole last week so it has probably dried up a bit since then.

Cool little demo since installing the TrueTrac. Just wanted to show it working up hill with uneven ground. It's nice to have. Tahuya could have been done with an open which bummed me out.

Dude! I didn't realize how easy the YouTube app makes it to upload a video! This is great. Now I get to share all my 2WD experiences. :bananadance:

This was another TrueTrac test on a pretty soft hill. I wanted to get it from a dead stop on the middle of the hill. I had to stop at the top because there were two trees my fat pig wouldn't fit between. God bless her

Thanks for the info! I was looking at the map and there were lots of dirt roads. Looks like they cut a lot of trees down in that area west of Dallas. There was a camp ground i saw on the map up there camp tagawingo lol.

My dad may rent out some spots in our area of Salem... But I doubt many people will be wanting that.

What about some of that forest land just east of Siletz Bay? I see a number of FS roads there...? I think this calls for a drive down there for some scouting.

Wanted some input, never been to Tahuya. Is it run-able with a DCLB with no lift and stock tires...?

Yes. Be tight in some spots but plenty doable. Least the main loop that is.

I meant us truck people. A lot of camper people probably would love to. They've got 75 acres
