I have the 2.7l 4x4 base ac (2015), and just got a set of TRD coil-overs, upper control arms, and rear shocks from a buddy (also a 2015) in exchange for a couple beers. Has anyone else made this swap, and if so any issues installing or need anything extra? Just wanting to avoid any "surprises"...

Found these somewhat related threads (lift-from-trd-shocks and trd-offroad-package-on-my-2010-regular-cab) but not much detail there, and practically no info anywhere else online - I'm guessing most people just jump straight to 5100s or OME etc, and are not "upgrading" to TRD parts. But $free.99 is the right price for me!

    Anyone have this experience?

    Cheers.

Put in the coil overs and rear shocks. They are better than what's on the base model - equivalent to 5100s. Don't expect ant lift - just a better ride.

The UCAs are the same as what's on your truck.

Awesome. Not looking for a lift (yet). Just that better ride.

    Thanks!
