Installed color matched decals on the doorsill protectors and glove box (Magnetic Grey Metallic). The glove box decal is harder to see.

Installed Toyota Bed lights with a little twist.. Instead of tapping into stock vehicle bed light harness I, instead, added:

    1) 3 way toggle switch
    2) Door pin switch for the tail gate
    3) LED "lights on/tail gate open" indicator inside the cab

    What this allows:

    1) Control "on/off" lights with tail gate "open/close" = Toggle in "door pin" position
    2) Leave lights "off" full time = Toggle in middle "OFF" position
    3) Over-ride the door pin switch and leave lights "on" full time = Toggle in "On" position
    4) LED indicator in the cab tells me if the lights were left on OR if the tail gate was left open

    Parts List:
    1) Toyota factory bed lights (00016-34089)
    2) 3-way toggle
    3) Door pin
    4) LED light indicator (I had this laying around in my garage)
    5) Red/Black wire to extend wiring
    6) Heat shrink and connectors

And my rudimentary electrical schematic drawing (apologize for lack of neatness):
    upload_2017-5-24_13-23-58.jpg

And the lights in action (look for the blue LED "lights on/door open" indicator just above drivers left knee):

Thank you for the write up! That's awesome. I'm in the process of gathering parts for this same bed light install but I don't have the factory bed lights switch since I'm in an access cab. Theoretically, this could work with the factory light switch too, correct? Isn't it a 3-way switch? I'd like to do this with an OE looking setup. If possible.

One question with this wiring set up: Does it work with the truck off? That's one thing I didn't like about the lights in my 2015. They way I had them wired (per instructions provided) they weren't hooked to permanent power. Apparently there wasn't permanent power source at the back of the truck anyway. Im not skilled in wiring and circuits, etc. so going "off script" from the instructions weren't an option for me at that time.

Edit: just watched your video so that answered my question about it working with the truck off...

Thanks!! Honestly, I never bothered to check and see if the factory bed light switch is a 3-way.. My goal was to avoid tapping into the stock harness if at all possible. I preferred having the 3-way switch in the back of the truck when camping out in the woods and sleeping in the bed of the truck. This provided a convenient way of flipping the light on for the bed instead of having to open the door to trigger the light. As for power, I give credit to guys/gals on this forum who took the time to share their ideas of setting up a separate fuse box:

Derpity derped the front grill yesterday. Was to hot here in AZ, texture ended up being like a bed liner. I kinda like it though...First of many mods to come!

That's awesome. Thanks for the link. You have a good point. I camp in the bed too and it would be nice to have that switch there. Maybe now I can put a panel in the OE light switch location for more switches... . Yes, this place is a plethora of good ideas. Money burning ideas, but good ideas nonetheless.

Ask the shop if they balanced the tires using balancing beads(plastic pellets). I tried them and they didn't work and went back to wheel weights.

Not all at once and in no particular order: steel grill (i have a chrome one for sale if interested, make me a decent offer if you are interested) swap, Kensun 8K HID headlights/fogs on the 55W system (don't know where the picture of the projection is...), +50 BHP flag and Metal Mulisha stickers, 4" step bars, piano black tailgate inserts and plastidip on the other chrome. Why would you add chrome to a white truck?
