A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
5x7 and 6x8 uses the same mounting so it should fit. I still prefer round speakers myself over oval. So I run 6.5 components all around.

depends if front or rear. rear should be no issues, front is more shallow and only certain ones will fit

Those Polk's are only 2 3/16' depth should be no problems for front or rear.

Check out Crutchfield.com. It will tell you what fits and where. They're a little high on price but service / support are second to none. Also provides you part numbers to reference if you want to shop anywhere else.

yeah that is where I got the info on the speakers, I just looked at Amazon to see if a bit cheaper then crutchfield. I agree crutchfield is amazing when it comes to customer service.

I might go with the oval ones.

    Thanks guys!

I can do that, I just don't want to have the tweeter look dumb on the front doors. I wonder if there is any tweeter housings that would fit on the top of the door by the mirror.

I have a 6.5" Focal V2 polyglass component system all around in my truck with Rockford amps pushing them. They were expensive but have lasted for 10 years. They are great!!! I would go with a component system

Thanks guys. I had focal components in a show car that I had, loved them and they were amazing. I am trying to stay a bit inexpensive, but I know that you get what you pay for.

Is this an aesthetics preference only?

More choices of higher quality/brand in round speakers vs oval
