I just open the back door on each side and stand on the door jam. I'm able to wash/wax half the roof, front to back, from each side. No problem.

??? You mean like making snow angels?

Here's how I used to wash the roof before I installed sliders: wet said roof with hose, soap up mitt, open the door and stand on the sill, wash from center of the roof to the plastic strips, close door and finish washing around sides, rinse (& repeat on other side)...

For those of you using brushes on a pole, have any preferences on which ones? I'm flat tired of using the mitts and and moving on to a pole brush.

(You can buy just the brush head then buy a wooden handle from Walmart or wherever cheaper than the pole above)

I would use a "Carrand" brush (Now you have me wanting a brush) I use there Microfiber Chenille wash pad and it works great.
