    If there's a hard bottom, that's true. If there's no bottom (which is generally the case in any serious mud here in Florida), wide tires on a light vehicle will get you further.

    D'oh, okay, yeah I was keeping my eye out for some 35s for my cousin. Sorry, forgot about that. After he never got back to me about Todd's MTZs, I kinda quit looking for him. :rolleyes:

    Doubtful on Hardrock. Still haven't fixed the OGT from the April 30th trip there. I'm probably sticking to Citrus for a while. At least I know the OGT can survive Citrus without breaking anything...usually. :frusty: I'm pretty disgusted with her after that last trip to Hardrock..."I-should-have-got-a-Jeep" disgusted. o_O

    If you plan a trip back to Citrus let me know I would like to go back there. Lee have you been there since the fatal accident where the guy rolled his jeep and died? Just curious if any new rules have been put into place. Hard-rock in August but I sure would like to do some camping and riding when the weather is cooler.

    Haven't been since last annual meet. Don't know of any new rules or anything. I think we've sort of decided by default that the Fall Camp & Ride will be at Citrus again since we haven't been able to find anywhere else to go that isn't yawn-worthy. That will be coming up in October some time, date TBD. I really wanted the Fall meet to be somewhere else and just have the Annual Meet at Citrus, but all the alternatives we considered are either not challenging enough (ONF), not big enough (Lazy Springs, Hardrock), not 2WD friendly (Hardrock), or too much mud and water, not enough technical stuff (Richloam, Osceola).

    I hear you on the limited areas where we can go. I wish i lived in Ga or north carolina. The people are nicer and plenty of places to wheel and camp.The only downfall is that its hard to find a decent job but if i do I'll make sure I have plenty of land so Fl tacomas have a place to stay on there travels.
