    I am starting from scratch so it's going be more like 1000, remote, battery and charger. Don't think thathat stuff comes with it.

    I may just go with the telluride since it seems to have speed and crawling since that's what he wants speed and crawl

    He is a beginner coming from toys r us models. If it does more than that and looks cool he will be estatic.

    Futaba came in. Pretty slick. Got it all set up and did a quick test run. Going to make a few more adjustments tonight and going to the track after work tomm.

    Just put in a pre order for the Traxxas TRX-4. Cant wait till they make toyota or jeep bodies for it.

    Ya I forget if that was in this thread or another, but I do remember seeing something like that.
    I just would love to have an RC that actually looked like a Tacoma. I know there is a brand that makes a crawler type RC that I always see in my Tower catalog and it's an 80s Toyota pick-up. Very cool. But I'm holding out for an actual Tacoma and then I'll prob buy it (and my gf will likely want to punch me lol).

    The new set up survived its first track night lol. The truck ran much better than the last time. Also, the new Futaba was very nice. Im really happy with this truck now. My Arrma is serving backup duty now, but its still a solid truggy. But the TLR is a great truck.
