I know it is in excellent condition with all the work you put into it, but I think that price is too high.
What would you pay for it?

I don't think it's that high... It's worth it if you were to try to build one with even half of the features it has, it'll be way to much..

It was amazing what he did and all the time and effort he put into it... A true Enthusiast M3 owner...

If it wasn't for your pride, ownership and your photo's I would've probably never bought the car but in this case, I did. After what I've seen, I hade to get it after a long search. Guess I'll be looking forward getting my hands on some wrenches and rags to start polishing her up if she needs it. I check the miles and the miles just about 3200 miles different since you own it, not sure who put those miles on there but I hope there were pampered miles. I had it PPI by a BMW specialist before I bought it and I was absolutely shock after they sent me photo's and heard the mechanic comments was "I've never seen a 2006 M3 that clean & well taken cared of in that condition" and he also quoted "After test driving it, it perform absolutely the way it should perform even with he supercharge". So I also had him do a little bit more then a normal inspection to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. So I talk to his wife and they are also proud Enthusiast owners of BMW of a M6 & M3 and they also own a couple of race track vehicles that they races. With all my research and patient in finding a diamond, I couldn't be more then satisfied, had to buy it... P.S. I've always wanted one but I've never drove one nor sat in one, how crazy is that...lol

Last I saw the listing was just under $42K. They had it for 10 months or so and it had been just under $40K. Tell me you didn't pay that?
I wanted it but wasn't going to pay that and then ship it back to the West Coast (when it came from, and I was hoping to bring it too). After
nearly a year I figured they would drop it a bit, but it sold. Just missed it. Should have offered my price see if they would have taken it. I've
watched that for a long time.

Yes, I did... I offered them $35,000 but we kinda went back and fourth and I ended up paying $37,500 for it. Like I mention on my other message, I probably wouldn't had paid that if the previous owner didn't do all that restoration and hard work of what he did and he also mention that the previous owners before him was a enthusiast owner, he also took really good care of the car... But I had a PPI inspection on the car and paid them extra to do a really thorough inspection as compression check, super charge, rear sub-frame and brakes & wheels, take pictures and video of the car before I made my decision. Cost was only $225 and It was done by a certified over 20+ years experience BMW mechanic shop, him and his wife both own a M3 & M6 and they race sponsored there own vehicle at the race track in Charlotte Motor Speedway. So I definitely wanted to make sure my investment was right and inspected by some enthusiast BMW people...

That's great you got it (sniff, sniff). That is about what I would have had in it after, taxes, shipping to the west coast, etc. I was a few grand less due to that.
I wanted the Dinan lightweight wheels, Michelin Pilot Sports, and new Dinan Floor mats for that price. Which would have added a few grand to the price. If it
were Interlagos Blue (not everyone's choice I know) with M-Texture interior and the Dinan wheels, that would be exactly what I wanted and I would have paid
more. But that combo probably doesn't exist of any S3-R's that still exist, so I'd have to build it. That supercharger as per your exact setup isn't made anymore
either but.. Still could be done. It's nice you got a Dinan registered car, ever though Steve Dinan left a few years back. Some don't care for Dinan, and it's expensive
they say anyway... I like how Dinan engineered a package and built parts of quality good enough to get the BMW seal of approval (sold at dealers and a warranty). So
it's not some pieced together car. Some want only a slicktop (no sunroof) and no Nav. I think they are fine, and add to the enjoyment of driving in California.

Yea but you can't always satisfied everyone even yourself sometimes cause as soon you get what you want, you want more..lol I just wanted to get the best for my bucks, especially something that was built by professional, bumper to bumper and even registered to Dinan itself. Well worth the bucks but everybody sees things differently I guess. You know what's so funny, I've never driven or sat in one of these cars.... lol I just remembered seeing one in 2004 and I told myself I have to get one of those but I ended up buy a saleen instead for way less the price... But it was burning in the back of mind and I still had the craving for one, so here I am buying one now... lol So I'm pretty pump up and excited to drive it as soon as it get here from the NC... It's waiting to be pick up and have it shipped over here...

Hi there- just stumbled upon your old car on CL. Would you be willing to chat before I reach out to the seller? It’s at 58k now and asking price is pretty steep at $43k...

I place it on the market back then because in this state (WA) it sucks to own a car like this or any exoctic cars unless your rich then you can drive anything you want in any weather. The weather hear don't allow you to really enjoy the car like the way you really want too. I still have the car and in my ownership and for almost 3 years I've only put about 3500 miles. I wish I can drive the car more but the weather doesn't allow me too but if it was a high mileage M3 then I would drive it every day in any weather but I don't feel like this M3 doesn't desearve that and that's just my opinion. But when I do get it to drive it, I emjoy every moment of it, I wish I can drive it all the time but the weather hear sucks... I place it on the market just to see what's out there but I had a few decent offers but most of them were low ball, I rather let it sit in my garage then give it away but it's definitley a car to have in your collection...

It's super clean, my friend has the same one in purple. He's probably on his 3rd engine swap though from using that M3 power
