Trip report from going to the store....

Man, these tires ride like complete ass. I forgot how much a bias-ply tire sucks on the road. All these mud terrain radials spoiled me :D.

But luckily for me, it's not going to be on the road at all really. I'll drive it every once in a while to keep things lubed and charged but it's pretty much going to be a dedicated trailer queen now.

Couple things to add though, I noticed the front pinion flange was loose so I tightened that back up. I'm not sure what happened, the damn thing may have never even been tightened completely. It wasn't too loose so I think it will be fine.

Went to use the winch today to move a truck and one of the damn prongs broke off in the receptacle on the winch. There was a ton of corrosion in there which is weird because the rubber cover is always on it and I've used the winch maybe 5 times since I've had it. Looks like it's a $25 replacement from Summit so I will be doing that and looking into doing a hard-wired in-cab winch control as well.

Sold the old front bumper and whipped up a new, more sleek one. Sorta a hybrid/mostly plate bumper.

With the light bar gone, I need ideas for aftermarket lighting. The stock headlights suck and I don't want to do another hoop to hold any lights. Suggestions? And just say no to ditch lights :D

Not enough room, gussets behind them are in the way.

I've been leaning toward getting some round lights and hacking up the grill and putting one on each side of the Toyota emblem....

Mass produce and resale the bumper, I have monies

Is the Walker muffler similar sounding to stock- looking for a muffler to give me clearance for a trac bar, don't want noise to increase.

Haha I wish I could help you on the bumper, this is my last one for a while.

As for the muffler, it's pretty quiet, but I don't think it's quite as quiet as the stock. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this one again though

If they are the 9" round ones, I've already seen them and ya I've heard good things about them. They won't fit in the grill though if that's where I decide to put them

Yea those LTBs are probably the worst on the road lol. But for the price they are absolutely the best off road tire money can buy. Super aggressive and super strong. They are heavy too!

It ain't that the truth about winches? Most people never use them at all. Great insurance to have but there's always somebody in the group that seems to be the winch master for everybody else :D

Trimmed the rear fenders in hopes that they clear the new tires, which they should. Also installed some bump stops out back that @xweslingx probably forgot he gave me over a year ago. Small wheeling trip this Sunday to try out the new tires.
